We welcome our good friend John Nelson again to Wednesday Live! John is the founder of Families Recover. Having come from a dysfunctional childhood, John found himself in the streets, living in the throes of sin in so many ways. Yet by God’s grace — though not without many trials — the Lord brought John through, not just to the other side but into ministry, helping young people and their families receive healing and find new life in Christ. John says, “Nothing warms my heart more than when the Prodigal returns!”
A testimony: Laura is a single mom with two children. With the help of Families Recover she cleaned up her life, and the ministry was able to supply her with a car. Laura had a vision to start her own business but needed a laptop — Families Recover provided that as well. Laura is now living her dream, and her business is growing and prospering. Families Recover can help people get started, even with Medicaid and other needs, through their network of organizations and people.
