Barry Alsobrook has been a friend of WCNO for a number of years now — we were there when TakenTV began its start-up journey. TAKENTV (The Active Kingdom Entertainment Network) is local to us on the Treasure Coast — a Florida-based streaming platform and TV network dedicated to producing and broadcasting Christ-centered programming, offering faith-based movies, family shows, “Kingdom Kidz” content, and Bible studies. Barry often brings guests to WCNO, giving us the opportunity to meet them, hear their testimonies, and learn of their work and ministry. You can reach Barry and explore TakenTV at takentv.com.
Sasha Tsutserov — how does a Russian KGB agent find the Lord Jesus, and then begin a work in Russia training up pastors, teachers, and missionaries? Sasha is that man. Raised by Communist Party parents who never spoke of God, he was nevertheless secretly baptized at age five at his grandmother’s insistence. As an adult he joined the Communist Party and worked for the KGB — until his daughter befriended an American missionary’s child, and the family’s joy and generosity drew him irresistibly toward Christ. After a vision of God pouring the pure gold of the Holy Spirit into him — a jar of clay — Sasha was baptized in July 1993, left the KGB, helped plant a church in Moscow, and went on to earn an M.Div. at Asbury Theological Seminary and a Ph.D. in New Testament at the University of St. Andrews. He now serves as director and professor at the Moscow Evangelical Christian Seminary, raising up a new generation of Christian leaders in a nation where 200,000 Christian leaders were martyred under Communism. Craig Pratt was a surprise guest — and a blessing! Craig is the Program Manager and Principal of Grace Place School in Pompano Beach, a school specifically designed to educate and restore youth who have been through abuse and trauma. Craig shares his own medical testimony — from his deathbed, Jesus touched and healed him. As he says of himself and his students: “From life support to supporting life.” To learn more or sponsor a student, visit graceplaceschool.org.
As always, you can listen to this interview in its entirety on the WCNO Archives / On Demand or by downloading the app.
